Adebola T Adeoti is a Gender and Development Lawyer and Women Rights Advocate with an extensive track record of academic excellence, international recognition, and community-driven impact. She graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Nigeria, before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, where she earned her BL and was called to the Nigerian Bar. She went on to obtain an LL.M in Gender, Conflict, and Human Rights at Ulster University in the UK deepening her expertise at the intersection of law, gender equality, and global justice. She is currently undertaking her PhD in International Law specifically in conflict related sexual violence with research that pushes the boundaries of contemporary legal scholarship. 

A prolific writer, she has published widely in reputable international journals, contributing critical perspectives on gender based violence, women’s rights, conflict transformation, and international legal frameworks. Her scholarly work has enriched global conversations on feminist legal theory, transitional justice, and human rights protection. 

Her academic and professional excellence have earned her several prestigious international awards and fellowships. She is a recipient of the Chevening Scholarship, the UK government’s flagship award for global leaders. She was also selected for Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Fellowship in Transitional Justice in South Africa, as well as a Feminist Fellowship in Italy, recognising her commitment to advancing gender equity through research and advocacy. 

Her contributions to the legal profession have not gone unnoticed. She has been recognised as the Young Lawyer of the Year by the Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Platform, and she was named among the Top Young Female Lawyers in Nigeria, reflecting her influence, leadership, and commitment to transformative legal practice.
